Timeless Elegance
When Sue and Wayne decided to replace their kitchen, they knew they wanted a room that was in keeping with their traditional barn conversion home in York. However, they also wanted the quality and functionality of a modern SieMatic kitchen, as well as the service of a well-known, established company.
The couple first visited Stuart Frazer because the company had been recommended to them by a friend. Sue explains, “I didn’t want a handleless kitchen, and so nearly ruled them out. But we decided to consider them because the kitchen designer at Stuart Frazer, had been recommended to us by a friend. When we visited the showroom we were amazed at what they could offer. We were blown away with the BeauxArts range – the kitchens were stunning and exactly the right look for our home.â€Â

The couple took their time when planning the kitchen and loved the way Sarah was so patient and helpful. They asked for a lot of advice about the best way to use the space. Stuart Frazer advised them to remove some walls and an archway to completely transform their kitchen. This meant that Sue and Wayne could have a much more useful, sociable room. Sue says, “Stuart Frazer were great at coming over and helping us make decisions. They were really flexible and excellent at explaining why they thought we should do certain things.â€
The couple are extremely pleased with all the advice Stuart Frazer gave about decor and design. They especially love the finish of the matt, lacquered cupboards, which give the beautiful look of painted units but are much more durable. Stuart Frazer even helped select fabrics for the curtains!
The couple’s new kitchen features a large island unit for the sink, a preparation area and eating place. Stuart Frazer advised them to install a Zip hot tap in to the island and they can’t believe how much they use it.  “Not only did Stuart Frazer design a fabulous looking kitchen, they created a workable space that is just perfect for cooking in. We love how we can entertain and cook for guests in the same room. It really is a fantastic casual setting.â€Â
