Tasked with creating a kitchen and living space worthy of such an impressive property, Stuart Frazer worked closely with Inside Studio and Black Barn Architecture to deliver a design that balances architectural elegance with everyday practicality. The brief was to create a space that would become the heart of the home whilst complementing the property’s bold contemporary aesthetic and strong connection to its natural surroundings.
The result is a beautifully cohesive living environment where rich natural materials, warm textures and clean architectural lines come together seamlessly. Floor-to-ceiling glazing floods the space with natural light and frames picturesque woodland views, creating a constant connection between indoors and out. Deep timber finishes, natural stone features and carefully layered lighting add warmth and sophistication, ensuring the contemporary design remains inviting and comfortable.
At the centre of the home, the kitchen has been designed as both a functional workspace and a social hub. Elegant, understated and expertly crafted, it integrates effortlessly into the open-plan living area, allowing family life and entertaining to flow naturally throughout the space.
