The Perfect Collaboration
Tasked with the interior design for the renovation of a fabulous period property in Cheshire, Emma Cockroft from Emma Cockroft Architecture and Interior Design knew a Stuart Frazer kitchen would work perfectly. Her experience of working with Stuart Frazer over the years ensured another fantastic collaboration and a kitchen that looks timeless, elegant and luxurious.
The client was originally drawn towards a traditional, shaker style kitchen but Emma felt a more modern Stuart Frazer kitchen could work just as well and recommended they visited Stuart Frazer’s Manchester showroom.
As soon as they met designer David Walthall they were immediately impressed, feeling blown away with his knowledge and attention to detail. It was this knowledge and the incredible SieMatic product that led them to choose Stuart Frazer. They gained a great deal of inspiration from Stuart Frazer’s Manchester showroom, with David incorporating elements of their Beauxart display, like the glass cabinets in to the design.
The clients worked with David on the kitchen, and Emma and David collaborated to ensure a luxe feel was created in the kitchen to tie in with the rest of the house. They were careful to ensure an understated, restrained feel despite the use of opulent materials. Emma’s brief to David was to work with a simple colour palette and she loved the way he incorporated Quartz in the kitchen, especially round the tall units and she carried this through, mirroring it in other areas of the home.
The client had always wanted a walk-in pantry and David’s design works brilliantly, adding a fantastic additional element to the space being both practical and striking with the sliding Crittal doors.
The end result is a kitchen born out of a truly collaborative process as Emma explains, “Stuart Frazer are ideal to work with as they understand the kitchen is part of the bigger design scheme. David worked with me, not in isolation, mindful that the kitchen needed to flow with the rest of the house. We worked closely together and the final kitchen is testament to how good the partnership was. Once again, I’m delighted with the kitchen and Stuart Frazer, as are my clients. From experience I also know that the support from Stuart Frazer doesn’t stop here; their after service is incredible.â€
