Expert Project Management from start to finish
When a couple from Preston made the decision to totally overhaul their kitchen space there was only one company that provided them with total confidence to deliver an exceptional, high-end product and that was Stuart Frazer.
After visiting the Preston showroom and discussing their brief with Showroom Manager Mark Gamble, the couple realised that Stuart Frazer could offer a full turnkey service to take the large project from inception to completion, with Mark expertly advising and guiding them through the best design solutions to make the most of the large open plan area.
The main challenge was incorporating a central structural column that could not be moved so Mark cleverly utilised it in the design, cladding the column in the same quartz material as the worktops and blending the worktops and SieMatic SLX cabinets around it to provide continuity with finishes and ensuring it appeared less intrusive in the room.
Part of their brief was to design and install a second spice kitchen. A new sliding pocket door was created for easy access, adjacent to the main kitchen. This provided the Client with the ability to prepare and cook in a totally separate enclosed environment. Mark created the ideal space, mirroring the design of the main kitchen by coordinating worktops and grey cabinet finishes.
The main kitchen area needed to include the very best Gaggenau appliances and both a casual and formal dining area. The T-shaped island provided the opportunity to not only deliver a breakfast bar but also a large custom-made leather bench seating area.
To create feature mood lighting, the new SieMatic SLX kitchen provides an ambient halo glow from the under-worktop handle channel around the whole perimeter of the island. SLX tall glass display cabinets to the rear of the kitchen add to this, softly illuminating the formal dining area and newly formed sliding door access through to the TV room.
The project was a large, complex one, but Stuart Frazer provided a turnkey service, working closely with a local builder and trades people who were used to working to Stuart Frazer’s exacting standards. This meant the couple left lighting, underfloor heating and floor finishes to Stuart Frazer. The result is a stunning kitchen space that the couple are absolutely delighted with.
