Mrs Hindle needed a kitchen that was stylish and contemporary, yet could handle young children and their messy hands. Sounds impossible? Not to Stuart Frazer…
Practicality was at the top of the list when the busy Hindle family came to choose a replacement kitchen for the high-maintenance one they’d inherited with their new house.Â

The Hindles, who like nothing more than a kitchen full of food and friends, big and small, visited a number of kitchen companies before choosing Stuart Frazer.

Although there was nothing wrong with kitchen they had, black granite and a contemporary style just didn’t suit their lifestyle or the needs of their young family. Constantly having to wipe surfaces led the family to seek a more practical, family-friendly kitchen.

The main brief to Stuart Frazer was that the new kitchen had to be modern and easy to maintain. It also had to complement the design and style of the adjoining open-plan living area where the family spends most of their time. Thirdly it had to make catering for large numbers a breeze and work as a smart casual dining area for the Hindle’s many parties.
As the family like to entertain, Paul suggested replacing their old range cooker with two built in wall ovens so that they could cook for large numbers and came up with the ideal seating solution: a large wooden breakfast bar that ran the length of the kitchen with comfy bar stools. The family now spend the majority of their time in this area.
The Hindles said they chose Stuart Frazer because they really listened to what they wanted and provided designs that enabled them to visualise the finished kitchen. By looking at detailed designs on the computer, the family could also see exactly how their finished kitchen would look and work.
