This all changed when they visited Stuart Frazer. After visiting Stuart Frazer’s Manchester showroom, and Iain and Louise realised that their downstairs could be transformed. Says Louise, “Stuart Frazer had a ‘can do’ attitude from the start and straightaway showed us how knocking walls down and remodelling rooms could create the perfect space for a new kitchen. In the past, I’d been told that we couldn’t knock down supporting walls but it turns out we could.”

 

Three small dark rooms became one as Stuart Frazer cleverly created a new living space that was flooded with natural light and flowed seamlessly from one area into another. The family liked the fact that their new kitchen incorporated a breakfast bar together with an informal dining area. Previously they’d eaten in a separate dining room. The remodelling was a massive project involving three supporting structures installed in the ceiling for support.
