SieMatic S2 Kitchen, Swinton
Curve Appeal
When Karen and Wayne decided to replace the kitchen in their Swinton home, they not only wanted a room that looked the part but one that was functional too.
The new kitchen needed to use all the available space, create a more open feel and link the different areas in the room, as well as fit in all storage and appliances. With limited wall space, the design was a challenge for Paul Rigby of Stuart Frazer. Paul says,
Â
“The old kitchen was divided in two by a rectangular breakfast bar. To avoid this in the new  kitchen, I designed everything with a ‘curve’ theme in mind.â€
Â
Paul created a beautiful curved glass bar as the focal point, and extended the curved look in the bulkhead above.
Â
As well as meeting their needs, the design had to be suitable for their lovely dog as well. Paul used matt doors for the bottom part of the kitchen to reduce paw prints and marks from the dog’s nose, and gloss on top. The two toned approach has resulted in an unusual yet stunning look.
Â
The finished kitchen looks simple, but closer inspection reveals high quality and attention to detail.
It’s this detail that sets Stuart Frazer apart from other kitchen companies. says Karen, “We had three companies in mind but after visiting Stuart Frazer we didn’t bother visiting the others. The quality, detail and service Stuart Frazer offered were just what we wanted.â€
Â
Karen and Wayne liked how Paul presented a range of designs and were amazed at how the drawing of the kitchen looked like a photograph of the finished job.
Â
“It was great being able to visualise how the finished kitchen would look. It made the design process so simple.â€
Â
Karen also praised the Stuart Frazer workmen who installed the kitchen.
Â
“They were so pleasant – a real joy to have in the house. Every night they tidied up so well. We barely knew they were here.â€
Â
Karen and Wayne have already recommended Stuart Frazer to a number of friends and are delighted at the compliments they have received from visitors.
