A stunning contemporary Stuart Frazer kitchen
for a barn conversion
Stuart Frazer Showroom Manager Paul Rigby knew exactly what he wanted when it came to designing the kitchen for his new family home. Despite being an old property, Paul wanted to contrast old with new and go for a contemporary Stuart Frazer kitchen, not a shaker style kitchen as you would expect to see.
Paul didn’t want any seating at the central island; he wanted it to look like a pure block of stone. Having an old traditional family table in front of the island provided all the seating the family needed and meant the simplicity of the island was not compromised.
Â
Large pendant lights were added over the island to complete the look as the hob has a built-in extractor which takes the steam away at source.
Gaggenau appliances were chosen after Alison, Paul’s wife and an avid cook, visited the Cookery School at Northcote to experience the Stuart Frazer kitchen and Gaggenau appliances first hand.
Â
The end result is a stunning space that contrasts old and new perfectly and evokes the ‘wow’ factor.
