CASE STUDY
The Sky’s
the limit
Fitting a kitchen in a ninth-floor penthouse apartment may prove difficult for many companies but for Stuart Frazer, there’s no limit to where they will go. In this case, they craned all the individual parts of the kitchen and every appliance in through the balcony of this Fylde coast penthouse apartment. Carefully erected scaffolding and a well-planned schedule ensured everything was delivered on time and in the right order.
It wasn’t just logistics that secured the project, the customers had a shortlist of three companies but after visiting Stuart Frazer in Manchester first and speaking to Paul Rigby, the other companies were discounted without a visit as the couple loved the displays in the showroom and knew Stuart Frazer could deliver what they wanted.
Â
Design capability was key. Within minutes of speaking to Paul the couple knew he understood their vision and after looking at the show reel of recent customer installations, realised Stuart Frazer had a wealth of experience with similar projects.
Appliances were important and wanting the very best, Gaggenau was chosen throughout. The couple also worked closely with Paul to mirror the monochrome colour scheme in the rest of the apartment. With challenging sloping ceilings, the design had to incorporate symmetry and practicality and make the most of the triangular feature window at the end of the room which looks out to sea.
Â
The couple are delighted with the finished kitchen and can’t praise Stuart Frazer enough, from the design through to the challenging installation and the excellent fitters, they found the company to be fantastic from start to finish and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.
