Traditional Oak Frame meets Contemporary SLX
When Dani and Cliff extended their farmhouse near Preston with an oak framed extension, they changed the structure to accommodate a Stuart Frazer kitchen.
Cliff had seen Stuart Frazer kitchens in glossy magazines for many years and always admired them. He always said that when the time came for a new kitchen, he’d have Stuart Frazer as he had confidence in SieMatic and the quality of their kitchens.
As a comparison, Cliff approached a few other kitchen companies but found their design approach to differ to Stuart Frazer’s. They asked him what he wanted instead of coming up with design ideas and solutions. He also found some companies had too much choice which didn’t inspire confidence.
Cliff and Dani liked the fact that they could visit more than one Stuart Frazer showroom for inspiration. Although they worked with Showroom Manager Mark Gamble in the Preston showroom, they picked their kitchen from the SLX display at Stuart Frazer’s Ribble Valley showroom.
Cliff liked how Mark challenged his ideas and said if he felt something wouldn’t work and the result is a stunning kitchen space that fits the aesthetic of the extension with it’s oak beams perfectly. They had originally thought of a grey colour scheme but after consideration they felt that a black one would work better and they loved Mark’s suggestion of the Oak Spekva breakfast bar and Bora hob which enables direct extraction without detrimental effect to the overall aesthetic of the room.
Accents of bronze throughout really make the space and the result is an incredible open- plan kitchen area.
Cliff and Dani are over the moon with their Stuart Frazer kitchen and the whole Stuart Frazer team, including the fitters who Cliff found to have amazing attention to detail. They have since recommended Stuart Frazer to their friends who have just had their Stuart Frazer kitchen installed.
